How often do you replace your windshield wiper blades?

I bought an '05 Accord that had the originals.How often do you replace your windshield wiper blades?
Change them ,my friend.The sun and heat can cause them to wear out .After all they are only made of rubber.Change them ever 2 years but if they are not doing their job change them again.Here in New Jersey sometimes I find it easier to use snow blades in the winter months.How often do you replace your windshield wiper blades?

about a week after they just smudge the widshield.

I need do it once a year.
i don't have a car...
When they show signs of wear, ie, leave streaks when they wipe. I would hazard a guess this averages to about 30,000 km.
you have to replace them? is that why I have a circular scratch across the windshield?
