I got a call from a guy saying my windshield has a crack and he can replace it for free. Scam?

I live in florida and he mentioned that it can be replaced for free. I was wondering if this is some kind of scam. He also offered a free meal at like Outback or something. Anybody heard of anything like this?I got a call from a guy saying my windshield has a crack and he can replace it for free. Scam?
when he takes the car to the shop to replace the windshield ,say good bye to your car.bye bye.get the point';';';';';';///I got a call from a guy saying my windshield has a crack and he can replace it for free. Scam?
My motto is: If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. I would be very cautious of this.
Unless it's your boyfriend then yes its a scam
I think its probably a scam nothing is really free. A windshield can very in price from 100 to 500 dollars plus labor. I would stay away from that.
did he tell you your windshield is cracked? or do you know its cracked?
Nobody does anything for free, not even your boyfriend.
it could be a scam.
Yeah, he sounds pretty shady. If you do have a cracked windshield and wish to replace it, there are plenty of reputable shops that specialize in replace auto glass. I always use Safelite. They do a great job and if you have insurance, it may only cost you your deductible.
Actually I live i Florida and By law you can get a free windshield. The way it works is your Insurance has to do it for free with no deductible,

I just had mine done.
