I had to replace my windshield so now the sticker of the inspection is void. Do I have to redo the inspection?

Usually when you have a windshield replaced....the tech will put the same sticker back on the windshield.....I don't understand why it would be void?

Unless the tech who replaced your windshield screwed up the sticker...it should still be valid until your next inspection is due.

Ugh yeah.I had to replace my windshield so now the sticker of the inspection is void. Do I have to redo the inspection?
If you have your receipt and paperwork from the original inspection you might be able to get the shop where the inspection was done to put another sticker on. It's worth a try.
I'd carry the windshield invoice to the inspector and see if you could just get a reissue
AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE SERVICE TICKET WHERE YOU GOT THE STICKER YOU CAN CHANGE THE STICKER. IF A COP ASKS YOU ABOUT IT JUST WHIP OUT THE RECEIPT.
Take you inspection slip from your last inspection, (Mechanics usually put in with the registration) and they should issue you a fresh sticker with the original expiration date. As long as you have that slip your inspection is valid.
