Is there anyway to get a scratch off your car windshield without replacing it?

I have a little scratch on my car windshield and its not very deep. Is there anyway I can fix it without totally replacing the windshield itself?Is there anyway to get a scratch off your car windshield without replacing it?
a glass shop can buff it out if its not deep enough to hang your finger nail in,i had mine buffed off because of scratches form an old wiper blade,and for 25 bucks they did a real good job on it,call some of the local glass shops on this one for a price,good luck.Is there anyway to get a scratch off your car windshield without replacing it?

Old timers used to polish out small scratches with wet newspaper.
yes very carfully use supper glue put on thin layer at a time otherwise it will run or gob up on you then light it with a lighter and blow out imediatly and be amazed.
I've been in the automotive glass business for 12 years now. I would like to say, i never seen one progress made on removing scratches from automotive glass. I bought so many devices and machines and other gimmick that claims to remove scratches from glass, and guess what, no results at all. But i have to admit some of the devices i used did reduce the scratches a bit, but to remove completely, never seen it done before. So i recommend you change the whole glass like some of my other customers had to do, due to scratches. But don't give your money to a company that claims to remove scratches, because it is physically impossible. Good luck
