This is used to sever the bond between the glass and the vehicle. once you have cut the entire seal area, remove the old windshield. Clean the channel of old silicone and apply new silicone in a single continuous bead in the channel. Install new windshield and mount rear view mirror bracket with proper adhesive. Let bracket cure and then install mirror and mouldings. It's just that simple.
