How do You replace a front windshield seal on a 1937 Nash Lafayette?

How do You take off an old, hardened, rubber winshield seal without ruining the paint or breaking the glass? How do You replace a front windshield seal on a 1937 Nash Lafayette?
First try removing the bead regardless, If this doesn't work simply cut the face of the moulding off, try not to cut all the way through, leave 1/8'; and tear it off, you don't want to cut through the paint under the moulding it can cause rust, if you do cut through repair it prior to installing the new windshield/moulding.How do You replace a front windshield seal on a 1937 Nash Lafayette?
u don't

A mechanic does. They are very unique and expensive cars as are anything made before 1960. U could severly damage the car
carefully. dont do it urself unless you are a certified antique car repairman. go find one in the phone book, it might cost allot but u would preserve your cars value.
