Will State Farm replace a front windshield at no cost even if I have 1000 deductible?

I had a stone crack my windshield and thought in the past this is covered without charge regardless of your deductible? ThanksWill State Farm replace a front windshield at no cost even if I have 1000 deductible?
If you have comprehensive with full glass coverage, they'll waive the deductible. Contact your agent to see if you have it.Will State Farm replace a front windshield at no cost even if I have 1000 deductible?
Usually windshield REPAIRS are covered with no deductible. Replacing the windshield will usually require you to pay your deductible. In most cases, if the crack is very small, repairs can be completed. If the crack has been allowed to spread, replacement will be needed.
It depends on the laws of your state.

In some states....the deductible applies even on glass only claims. In other states...the deductible is waived for glass only claims.

Your best source of information is your agent.
The windshield is covered under the comprehensive portion of your policy. If you have a deductible it would apply. I personally don't believe in a deductible for comprehensive claims since they tend to be small claims and a deductible defeats the purpose. (Comp. claims are not surcharged either)
