Estimated time/cost to replace windshield wiper motor?

Our windshield wiper motor went out. I think it is because you could hear it dying and then it stopped completely. We have a 99 Ford Windstar.

Does anyone have any clue if having the windshield wiper motor replaced/fixed is a big job or is it minor? Estimated cost? I am going to call a repair shop but I thought I'd find out some info first. Thanks!Estimated time/cost to replace windshield wiper motor?
not a big job, the motor is about $85 and the labor is about 1.5 hrs....they will charge you flat rate hours, whatever the time manual says....est. $200-$300...if you have someone do it for you, its not too hard, you could do it yourself....the parts house will want the old motor as a core, unless you buy a new one....Estimated time/cost to replace windshield wiper motor?
it would take under an hour. i have no idea of cost as you've asked on a UK site.
the labor should be no more than 1 hour of that shops rate and the part is minor..call your local parts store....Napa/Advance Auto Parts/Carquest/Auto Zone, give them the year, make , and model and they can give you an accurate price
probably not more than a couple hundred bucks...
Usually, the motors are in plain sight %26amp; 2 to 4 screws hold them on with a detatchable electrical set of wires., %26amp; 2 couplers that connects to the mechanical levers that move the wipers. Dont know the cost of the motor but no more than an hour is needed to swap it out. Some motors inter-change %26amp; should be no problem finding those that do.
