How much would it cost to replace the windshield of a 2009 Hyundai Sonata (and what about cost of the hood?)?

Call your local glass replacement company and body shop to get quotes. If you just want an estimate...$350 for the windshield replacement, new painted hood will be about $1100.How much would it cost to replace the windshield of a 2009 Hyundai Sonata (and what about cost of the hood?)?
Sometimes dents can be pulled without having to replace the whole part and repair of the scratches can also be taken care of (usually) by a mobile repair company for less than it would cost to have a body shop do it. The OEM hood itself is $400. Add approx $250 to paint and blend into the fenders.

The windshield from Hyundai is $350 for the standard and $400 for ones with Homelink - add approx $20 for the rubber moulding and $100 for installation. You may be able to get one aftermarket from an auto glass company. That will probably be around $500 for the whole job (if they are even able to get the glass). There are also companies who repair the glass without having to remove or replace it. Most upholstery repair shops can repair glass as well.

If you don't have too big of a deductible, you could contact your insurance company. Personally, it sounds like a malfunction in the car wash itself caused the damage and I'd be talking to the manager of the facility about them paying for the repairs.
