my shade got stuck between the windsheild and the base of the rearview mirror. i pulled on it lightly the way it went in, not downwards, so as to avoid breaking the mirror off. well just that little tug broke it off, and took a little chunk of the glass too. will i beable to glue it back on, or will i have to replace the windshield. id rather not replace it cause it a 06 honda civic windshield (they're huge, and i heard expensive).If anyone could help me, id appreciate it!Will i need to replace my windshield?
Do not use super glue and do not use tape. Your mirror will vibrate. Call and make an appointment to meet a auto glass installer that is close to you. He has special glue that will put your mirror back up. It is a free service we offer and most shops do.

dr. car guy is stupid. i worked for a windshield shop for 2 years and all you have to do is glue the mirror back on and it will be fine
No you can glue it right back on and you shouldnt have any problem at all dont sweat it, Good Luck!!
It is just like a rock chip repair. Take it to a business that does windshields and rock chip repairs and have it repaired. should only cost about $25-50.
needs to be replaced. check with your insurance and see if you have glass coverage
