How do I replace the windshield on my 2000 ford focus?

the windshield on my focus has pulled away. I have been told there are screws under the hood to tighten it down but I do not see any screws. How do I replace the windshield on my 2000 ford focus?
Don't bother, someone will come right out to your house and replace it for cheaper than you can buy the windshield retail because they get it at a retail cost.

Otherwise look for someone who is a mechanic and can do it off-duty as a favor

Also you can get OEM which is cheaper too

Don't do it yourself because if you don't know how its risky and you can get hurt on the highway. How do I replace the windshield on my 2000 ford focus?
take it to a ford dealer, if you want to do it yourself, they will be more than happy to advise you on how
i own a repair shop, and there are no screws that hold it in it is glued in,and you,ll have to call a glass shop to do this job,you cant put the new one in,even if you had the old one out of it,they break so easy going in that it takes a professional to do it,id call the nearest glass repair and get a price on it,good luck,i hope this help,s
Everyone here is pretty correct. I would call an installer. Safelite is good and will come to your home, work, etc to do it. As far as getting a mechanic buddy to do it... Well, maybe but I am a mechanic and I have a buddy that works for Safelite Auto Glas do mine whenever I need it. It's worth the money Not to worry about breaking it or not setting it in properly. Plus, your 2000 model ain't like old vehicles that had a gasket that you could ';rope'; in. This new windshield is held in with urethane. You need a special tool to cut and lift the old glass out. Then you need to clean up the mounting surface and prep the area, runa good bead of urethane and then carefully set the windshield. You are most likely not equipped for that and it just isn't worth it to buy what you would need to do a good install unless you plan to do many of them.

Sorry you didn't get a ';oh yeah, no problem'; answer out of me on this one but I think you''d be wise and out less in the end to pay somebody else on this one.
go to glass man.. i just had one done cash...130 dollars 1999 S10 chev.
Take it to a auto glass shop because if you dont know how you might get it wrong and it will leak or you might crack it.
