my girlfriends windshield of her car been shot for a year now and it has 3 small pellet gun shots about each the size of a penny she doesnt want to replace her whole windshield because they do not leak and did not break thru to the inside have any of you used those fix a windshield kits and how well do they work?3 pellet gun shots on windshield best repair kit to use?
My understanding is that the repair kits do not work well and the strength of the repair is never the same as the original. Look in your yellow pages under auto repair--glass. It is a very competitive business and you can find good prices. Not free, but reasonable, sometimes for so little that it's not worth reporting it to your auto insurance bc the total cost is less than the insurance deductible.3 pellet gun shots on windshield best repair kit to use?

It might be illegal in some states if the crack obstructs the view but no one really enforces this unless you clearly have the money to get it fixed. Windshield repair kits sound like a myth, I see of no way they could do anything more than seal the crack to make sure it doesn't leak. You can't put glass back together. So if it doesn't leak, don't do anything about it.
