I had it replaced for my girlfriend and she is saying there is a gap between the windshield and the roof where the molding should have went. I and the shop owner both explained how its inverted and its supposed to look like that.
Has anyone had this done and/or have pictures of the top of a jetta windshield where it meats the roof so I can show her?Anyone have a 2001 or newer VW Jetta windshield replaced?
Ive had the windshield on my jetta replaced and the big gap is completely normal on it. It comes on all the jettas. its thicker than usual on most cars but thats the style of it. I dont have a ny pics of my own jetta since I crashed it last year but tell ur girlfriend thats its competely fine.Anyone have a 2001 or newer VW Jetta windshield replaced?
Go to any parking lot with a Jetta of the same year or close and look. The gap may be a bit larger because the kits never give enough sealant.
