Windshield and Rear Window Removal and Replacement on a 94 Cavalier?

Where can I find detailed how-to instructions for removing and replacing the windshield and rear window?Windshield and Rear Window Removal and Replacement on a 94 Cavalier?
the windshield has a encapsulated moulding that means it is bonded to the glass from the factory and cannot be replaced by an aftermarket moulding. the back window you can pull the moulding out and cut away. auto parts stores sell windshield removal tools (napa) they are L shaped knives that go under the glass from the outside of the vehicle to cut the glue. or you can use the old piano wire trick. if you want it done right you should call your local glass shop they will offer a removal and replace of your glass. i charge $60.00 a window plus taxWindshield and Rear Window Removal and Replacement on a 94 Cavalier?
If the details are not discussed in the repair manual (available at the parts house or book store %26lt; $20.00 or at the library, Then you will need the shop manual for the car available at the dealership.

Another good resource are the assorted ';how-to...'; books about body repair at the local book store.

You will need a couple of specialty tools which are described in detail in most instructions.

This is an operation that is fairly arcane, and not done often by the DIY'er. It might be better to call one of the ';on-site'; glaziers for the installation. They work well, quickly, and come to you at your convenience.

Good Luck
