yep, when you replace the windshield your deductible applies. its probably not going to be worth claiming since you have a $500 ded.
You HAVE to pay the first $500.00 no matter what so shop around and tell the glass installers you want their insurance price when they install your new unit. Some windsheilds cost over $900.00 while many are under $200.00. Depends on make and model vehicle.
