How to paint Jeep windshield frame?

I need to replace my windshield. The replacement is a used black frame and my Jeep Scrambler is white. I'm watching my cash, so how can I can't get it professionally painted. What process and products would I use to do it myself? How to paint Jeep windshield frame?
make sure you mask the rubber seal itll look crappy if you paint the seal you could go to a parts store that sells paint and they can usually match the color of you jeep and put it in a spray can for you and when you apply the clear coat wait about 15min when the paint is still tacky that way it will bond to the paint and last longer the one thing about doing this with spray paint it can look good but but doesnt go on as using a quality spray gunHow to paint Jeep windshield frame?
match the paint with the color you want and then either put grease on the glass and other parts you dont want painted then paint when the paint is dry wipe the grease off or you can use masking tape and tape all of the components you dont want to paint the grease is messy and hard to clean off taping is good but it takes a lot of time to tape and you have to make sure that everything is dry or the tape will give and paint will will get under it Good Luck
You can do it your self what you need is some painters tape and some masking or painters sheets to cover the glass then get a scotch Britte scuff pad and lightly scuff the part that needs to be painted then using a automotive white paint from a spray can apply light even coats two or three after its all dry apply clear coat if desired. You can get all this from your local parts store for under $20
