How do I get rid of scratches on my car windshield?

I used a glass coaster (thinking it was plastic) to scrape some ice off my windshield one morning (i was in a hurry, i know it sounds stupid). anyway, it left light scratches all over the driver's side. is there any way to get rid of these without replacing the windshield??How do I get rid of scratches on my car windshield?

Kits are sold through the auto part stores (Auto Zone, Advance, Pep Boys, etc) but I would advise to drop by an auto glass shop for their opinion.
drop into a auto store, they have this filler that will fill the scraches. There is some cheap solutions to fix it. Just ask a professional. Good luck and stay warm
